(Extra files can be purchase for $15 per file or $300 for the entire gallery – Once the mini session is done you can not upgrade to a full session)
I love capturing families playing, snuggling, being goofy, and just loving on each other. So relax and just enjoy being with your family 😉 I shoot all my sessions 90 min prior sunset for optimal lighting and they usually last between 60-90min and you are welcome to bring up to 2 outfits of your choice.
To get the most out of your session, please plan a buffer when getting ready so you can arrive a few minutes early to your session and be ready to start on time. I am only able to shoot when natural light is still in the sky, so we’ll want to take advantage of every minute we have together before the sun goes down. If you’re wearing two outfits, save your favorite one for the second half, and if you’re wearing one, arrive in that.
Choosing a location …
The location of your portrait session is up to you! Outdoor, open-air environments are always preferred. I love shooting in open, natural spaces because the light is divine, especially during the golden hour. This is the time to think outside the box! I can suggest some outdoor locations, but I encourage you to brainstorm unique locations that you might have special access to that most people don’t. For example, maybe you, or someone in your personal or professional network, can secure permission into a location that would otherwise be off-limits, like a beautiful private estate, country club or resort. Maybe it’s a family ranch, upscale hotel or even a boat, airplane hangar or a rooftop view. The sky is literally the limit! Spend a few minutes thinking about it and checking around. You’ll be surprised with what you come up with. Plus, if something seems out of reach, just remember: you never know until you ask! My clients have secured permission to some pretty amazing places in the past. I also have some great go-to locations around town that we can always hit. Just let me know which type of session you’d love and we’ll go from there! Easy. Peasy.
For locations over 10 miles from Fairhope (36532) there will be a charge of $2.50 per mile.
What to wear …
Have you thought about rocking a romantic gown, tulle skirt or flower crown but just never had an occasion for it? This is your chance to do it up! Remember: There is no such thing as “too dressed up” when it comes to your portrait session, so don’t be afraid to have some fun! If you don’t want to add a new permanent piece to your collection, a lot of my clients love Rent the Runway for their session because it’s such an affordable way to feel like a million bucks. Other clients love having a great excuse to bring a new permanent piece (or two!) into their closet! Once you book your session with me I will also send you a PDF file with more information on what to wear 😉

Want your photos to look more editorial? Bring a little extra something with you! Fresh flowers bring an extra “wow” factor to just about everything, especially when they’re attached to something else, like a bicycle basket, tree swing, tent, picnic basket, balloons or car bumper. Whether you want to incorporate larger items like classic cars or bikes, or smaller ones like blankets or hats, even planning for just one extra styled item could be a fun way to make your session more unique.
What does the price include …
The price includes my time and talent. A first consultation about the session and all the high resolution digital files from your session (anywhere from 30-60 pictures) that you will get through digital download within 2-3 weeks after the session. You will also receive a print release form so you can print your pictures whenever and wherever you will like.
I am happy to travel for sessions although travel fees will apply.

Let’s remember your family. Your family has a story to tell. These photos will not be your standard look at the camera and “say cheese” type of photos. As long as you know that going into the session and trust me, your session will go amazing! I will be guiding your family during the session and we will be planning it ahead of time. You will walk away with interactive family moments that you will cherish forever. There are so many times where we say, “gosh, I wish I had someone here to caputre how we are acting as a family right now.” Well, now you do! With a little help planning what to wear, what activities to do in order to get genuine reactions out of your children, this session will be incredible and one you will cherish forever.
In studio posed newborn sessions – $750 (plus tax – Twins add $75)
(For an additional $300 I offer in house posed newborn sessions where I will bring the studio to your home) 20 files of your choice with the option to purchase more.

Newborn sessions are best if done within the first 12 days of life.
I only photograph newborns on week day mornings in my home studio located in Fairhope-AL.
A typical session will last 2-3h and I will provide everything for it however you are free to bring anything that is special to you.
